Your Public Squares • Thankful For
Each month, we team up with NPR's The Picture Show and ask you to share your stories with us for a community photo project called Public Square. This November, we asked you to celebrate Thanksgiving by making a picture of what you're thankful for.
Hundreds of you gave thanks from all around the world, from Bali to Morocco and Tokyo.
Some were simple: strangers who make you smile, playing music, surfing, nature, and most of all, your pets.
Many of you told stories about your loved ones.
@sevenmouths photographed her daughter: "I was 17 when I had her," she said. "Together we have challenged every statistic stacked against us."
Laurie Martin photographed her mother who diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and her father who cares for her: "His patience and persistent belief in her despite all that is lost is truly inspirational," she said.
Check out what all of you are thankful for here.
