Eighty years ago, this was a hot luxury hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
Now, the historic hotel is transforming into homes for LA's homeless.
The building is one of two that made up the Rosslyn Hotel. At one time they made up the largest hotel on the Pacific Coast.
The one pictured here is the 91-year-old Rosslyn Hotel Annex.
SRO Housing Corporation bought the building in 2010.
Because the Rosslyn Hotel Annex is a registered historic landmark, little details like honeycomb bathroom tiles within each apartment must be left untouched during renovations.
